Walmart commits $25mn to support communities amidst COVID-19

Global retailer Walmart – operating a chain of hypermarkets, grocery and discount department stores – and the Walmart Foundation have committed $25 million towards meeting “critical needs resulting from global COVID-19” crisis. Walmart has also shared that it will use the funds “to strengthen the global public health response, bolster food security and support the needs of local communities in the US and internationally.”
