Williams Sonoma opens its first store in the UAE

Kitchen and home retailer, Williams Sonoma has opened its first store in the UAE in Dubai. The 6,500 sq ft specialty store is located on the first level of The Dubai Mall offers range of products for home entertaining, cooking and decorating.

“Our brand founder, Chuck Williams, traveled the world, and was inspired by what he saw and experienced to found the first Williams Sonoma store in 1956 in the USA. Our promise is to nourish people’s lives at home. We’re excited to bring that full circle with the opening of our latest store in Dubai, at a time when it is more important than ever,” said Joshua Placer, senior operations manager.

“There is a greater desire to cook healthy, delicious meals and enjoy time at home, surrounded by comfortable, stylish furnishings. As a brand, Williams Sonoma transcends countries and helps families improve their life at home in difficult times,” he added.

From multifunctional cookers to the latest in guided cooking technology – today’s most innovative kitchen breakthroughs are now available to passionate chefs in Dubai.

The store also offers complimentary design services that span Williams Sonoma as well as Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm.

For trade clientele, Williams Sonoma will also be introducing Designer Rewards. Furniture can also be made to order.
