Go classical with Chinese quartet
Dubai-based international violinist, Min Yang will be teaming up with the China Philharmonic String Quartet for an evening of classical renditions in aid of Larchfield Children’s Home in Tanzania, at the Waldorf Astoria, Palm Jumeirah, on April 24.
The quartet featuring Chen Yun (1st Violin), Yan Ke (2nd Violin), Mao Xin Guang (Viola), and Guan Zheng Yue (Cello), are all leading soloists from the China National Philharmonic Orchestra. The gala is in aid of Gulf for Good’s charity project in Tanzania, Larchfield Children’s Home, which is being built for children who have been abandoned by their parents, either due to disease or death.
The concert will commence at 8pm followed by three-course dinner and beverages at 9pm. Door open at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at Dhs600 per person or a table for 10 people (Dhs6,000).
