WWith just about three weeks to go before 2019 zooms into our life, it’s that time of the year when deja vu strikes again and we are left pondering how quickly the year has flown past. But before it’s time to bring out the mistletoe and dust off our party hats to bid adieu to a bittersweet year, we still have so much to look forward to. There’s of course Enrique Iglesias performing this weekend and we can’t wait to listen to the Latino heartthrob crooning Bailando specially for us. City Times’ David Light met up with Hollywood star Susan Sarandon and the Duchess of York who were in Dubai along with Ben Stiller and others for a charity event over the weekend. Dubai has a penchant for attracting the best talents to its shores doesn’t it? There’s the Global Gift Gala fronted by Eva Longoria coming up as well and our personal favourite Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero releasing on December 21. When City Times met up with the actor at the Palazzo Versace Dubai last Thursday, Khan was his usual charming self, wowing us yet again with his consummate professionalism, as he talked about his forthcoming movie, his glamorous co-stars and most interestingly why he feels the need to go the extra mile to entertain his diehard fans. You can bet Zero will be another totally entertaining movie from King Khan. All in all there’s so much to look forward to in the coming weeks. Enjoy!
