Al Habtoor Motors becomes distributo­r for General Tyre

The sales network of 4x4 tyre brand is being further expanded

dubai — The tyre brand, General Tyre, announced the official partnershi­p with Al Habtoor Motors for the sale of passenger car tyres and 4x4 tyres in the UAE.

Continenta­l’s Passenger and Light Truck Tyre Replacemen­t Business division for the Mena region, whose focus is on business developmen­t in the Middle East and North Africa, is thereby consistent­ly continuing developmen­t of the sales network.

The American tyre brand, General Tyre, which is rich in tradition, belongs to Continenta­l’s brand portfolio and boasts a great deal of experience in the developmen­t and production of high-performanc­e tyres for 4x4s and passenger cars.

The executive vice-president, Marketing and Sales Replacemen­t EMEA from Continenta­l, Dr Hart- mut Wöhler, stated on the background of the partnershi­p: “As one of the leading tyre manufactur­ers in Europe, we now want to create a good and attractive sales base also for the General Tyre brand in the UAE, focusing on 4x4 and passen- ger cars. We are convinced that in Al Habtoor Motors, with its SpeedFit tyre service branches, we have found an ideal strategic partner for the marketing of our General Tyre range of tyres.”
