Sata opens Abu Dhabi branch

New office to serve travel needs of customers and offer a complete range of services

dubai — Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (Sata), a well establishe­d Internatio­nal Air Transport Associatio­n (Iata) accredited travel agency, announced the opening of its Abu Dhabi branch as part of its expansion plans in the region.

The branch was inaugurate­d by Ali Salim Abdelrahma­n Al Midfa, chairman, Sharjah Airport Authority. It was also attended by Shaikh Khalid Isam Saqer Al Qassimi, chairman, Department of Civil Aviation, Arshad Munir, general manager of Sata, other government officials, airline and trade partners.

The new office is located at Electra Street opposite the ADCB Head Office will serve the travel needs of its increasing customers and will offer a complete range of travel services such as worldwide airline reservatio­n and ticketing, hotel reservatio­n, holiday packages, cruise packages, Mice (meetings, incentives, conferenci­ng, exhibition­s), rent a cars, air char- ters, and more to follow. Arshad Munir said: “It is with great pleasure to announce the opening of our first branch in Abu Dhabi. This is a milestone achievemen­t for Sata because we are now seeing the realisatio­n of our goal which is to spread our wings and open several branches all over the UAE. We have our presence in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and soon we will be opening our branches in other part of UAE as well.”

Presently Sata caters to business and leisure travelers, including groups and incentive travellers. Using state- of-the-art technology supported by 24-hour uninterrup­ted service, passengers are assured quick and efficient services.
