Smartworld presents developmen­t plan

dubai — Smartworld, joint venture company between Etisalat and Dubai World Central, a leading technology services provider that enables digital economic growth across the Gulf, Middle-East and Africa, unveiled its planned roadmap towards future growth and developmen­t at its annual event ‘Smart Gathering 2014’, which was held at the in Dubai. During the event, which was being held under the theme, ‘Enabling Digital Economic Growth,’ Mohamed Fouz, CEO, Smartworld, detailed the company’s vision and mission, the new structure, growth aspiration­s and strategic goals for the next four years.

During his speech, Fouz also shared how Smartworld is focusing on being a key Digital Economy enabler for businesses in UAE and the Middle East. Participat­ion in the digital economy is, for an increasing number of businesses, becoming a matter of economic necessity. Most businesses now realize that to remain competitiv­e and to conduct business efficientl­y, they must adopt electronic means for business processes. Under the new Smartworld strategy, the company is placing strong focus on leveraging its skills and abilities to drive in digital economic growth for its clients across the Gulf, Middle East and African regions.
