Savoy Park Hotel Apartments receives award at Meha 2015

dubai — Savoy Park Hotel Apartment in Dubai, member of the Dubai Quality Group, was awarded the Best Hotel in Environmen­tal Innovation at the Middle East Hotel Awards (Meha) 2015 ceremony organised by DMG events. Savoy Crest was the top finalist in the same category.

The ceremony was held at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai-Palm Jumeirah and was attended by leading hoteliers from Atlantis, Armani, Palazzo Versace, Jumeirah, Banyan Tree, Four Seasons, The Address, The Savoy and many others across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Doha, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria.

Faroukh Sunny, group general manager of the Savoy Hotel Apartments in Dubai (Savoy Park/Savoy Suites/Savoy Crest/ Savoy Central) took the stage along with Savoy’s Green Team members to receive the award from the Meha 2015 officials.

Faroukh Sunny said: “This has truly been a defining moment for the Savoy Hotels to be honoured and recognised with the Environmen­tal Innovation Award and we humbly dedicate this award to all our guests and staff members who have supported and encouraged us throughout our green journey embarked upon in recent years.”

He also paid tribute to the chairman M.C. Mani and managing director Ashish Nurani of the Savoy Group for constantly supporting in green initiative­s and having made significan­t investment­s in green solutions to reduce CO2 emissions.

Savoy Hotels Apartments in Dubai has been the front runner in green initiative­s and has won several accolades at Dubai Green Tourism Awards in 2010 /2012 and 2015 bestowed by DTCM — Government of Dubai.
