UAE sends relief planes to Yemen
abu dhabi — Two UAE relief planes loaded with foodstuff and health materials arrived in Yemen on Saturday morning as part of the air bridge implemented by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The gesture came in the framework of the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, that are aimed to provide food and health assistance to the Yemeni people suffering from severe shortage of food and medicines due to the catastrophic developments witnessed by the country. —
