dubai — LG Electronics inaugurated its maiden business-to-business showroom in Dubai on Monday, which the first of its kind — not only in the region, but in the world.

The LG Business Innovation Centre — located at Shatha Tower in Dubai Media City — is home to the South Korean technology giant’s wide line-up of leading B2B solutions and products, aimed at government and business partners and much more.

“We have for a long time wanted to have a facility that can invite end-customers to come in and experience what our products can do,” Robert Nurgberg, director of marketing and B2B for the Middle East and Africa region at LG Electronics, told Khaleej Times after the ribbon-cutting event and tour of the centre, which was led by LG Electronics Middle East and Africa region president Kevin Cha.

Aside from showcasing its products, Nurgberg says that LG also

ent anywhere else — surprisingly, even in LG’s home market in South Korea. Asked why Dubai was chosen to debut this B2B centre, Nurgberg says that the emirate is the “central hub and connection point” in the entire MEA region.

“Dubai is the place where a lot of things are happening,” he added.

The LG Business Innovation Centre has several clusters that highlight LG’s core vertical markets, which include hospitality, quick-service restaurants, transportation, education, retail, security and corporate. Its design sets the scene for customers to partake in interactive hands-on experience with assistance from LG business experts. “We aim to create a seam- less, personalised experience in the showroom — an experience that will leave a strong impact on our partners,” Cha said at the event. As industries locally and globally constantly looking for effective and innovative solutions to communicate with customers, the LG Business Innovation Centre will be able to cater to these demands and help numerous verticals by bridging the gap between traditional media and online marketing by incorporating digital signage solutions into their marketing strategies.

LG also announced that integrators and partners can also look forward to monthly workshops and training certification programmes on its products and solutions beginning this July.

On future rollouts, Nurgberg says that LG will be “launching fantastic new products in the time coming”.

He is also excited and confident on the success of the Business Innovation Centre.“I see a lot of guests coming from all levels,” Nurgberg said. “The success to this is to make it busy, busy, busy.”
