All the tickets are sold out for the final of the inaugural Pakistan Super League.

— Tickets for the first ever Pakistan Super League (PSL) final have been sold out, according to the organisers of the competition, but they still continue to surface online.

Islamabad United square off against the Quetta Gladiators at the 25,000 capacity Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday night, and although it has been pencilled in for a week day, it is being said that the fixture is a sell-out.

But tickets continue to be available online with numerous entries posted on the popular website dubizzle.com.

As of Monday night, there were a handful of sellers offering tickets with prices ranging from Dh 90 to Dh 400.

While some may be genuinely selling their tickets, there are the others who are out to make a quick buck.

One entry had the description ‘150 Dhs 1 tickets 2 tickets for 250 general standard still available. They have even posted a picture of a ticket with the prize clearly mentioned as AED 0, which means it is a complimentary ticket being sold online.

Rumours are also rife that tickets are being offered at double the price.

The PSL’s official ticketing website Kyazoonga.com displays tickets across all price ranges — Dh 30, Dh 50, Dh 100, Dh 250 and Dh 900 and stands — General East, General West, International East, International West, Premium East, Premium West as well as Platinum — have all been sold out.

Most fans were anticipating one of the most popular teams in the PSL — Peshawar Zalmi to be in the final. But the Shahid Afridi-led side lost narrowly to the Quetta Gladiators in the first playoff and then went down to Islamabad United.
