abu dhabi — Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has inaugurated the Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The hospital is the Capital’s first private hospital dedicated to mother and child care.

A unit of NMC Healthcare Group, Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital is bridging an acute gap in healthcare services for women and ‘mother and child’ care.

A deluxe 100-bed facility offers women an exclusive sanctuary where they can receive first-class care in a technologically advanced and emotionally supportive environment.

Brightpoint brings women a firstof-its-kind facility, which will also focus on providing the finest labour, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) care and an advanced level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with sophisticated technology and equipment to help treat pre-term babies and nurture them to health.

Dr B.R. Shetty, executive vice chairman and CEO of NMC Healthcare, said: “We are very happy to be easing the strain on women’s health services in Abu Dhabi with a holistic approach, ensuring women feel cared for.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to the Rulers, the regulators and my international investors for always providing their invaluable support and helping to take UAE healthcare to the next level,” said Dr B.R. Shetty.
