Bird Group’s Dusit D2 hotel set to open in Delhi
DUBAI — Bird Hospitality, part of the diversified Bird Group of India, plans to open its second property — Dusit D2 — in New Delhi.
The full service, upscale 216room property is spread across 1.6 acres and is designed specially to match the evolving needs of the new generation cosmopolitan guests, the company said in a statement at the Arabian Travel Market.
“The hotel showcases a young perspective on global hospitality which will be classic in lineage and nouveau in execution. Dusit D2 is a 30-minute drive to New Delhi and corporate hub of Gurgaon and just ten minutes away from the International Airport.
The group’s first property — Dusit Devarana — is designed to offer an invigorating and relaxing experience. This luxury resort in New Delhi is counted among the top hotels in the capital and has raised the bar of comfort and lavishness to an altogether new level, the statement said. The Dusit Devarana houses landscaped gardens featuring refreshing greenery and tranquil waterways shimmering with clear water. The main highlight of this exotic resort is its myriad of luxurious accommodation options. The group also ventured into the international market through acquisition of The Royal Park Hotel, which is an intimate and luxury boutique hotel in London. This hotel, located on Westbourne Terrace, overlooking the Hyde Park, comprises three carefully restored mid-19th century townhouses.
