UAE, Luxembourg forum in Dubai
abu dhabi — The UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri has met Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Étienne Schneider to discuss mutually beneficial economic and investment opportunities. Both sides also agreed to jointly organise a business forum to be held in Dubai next year.
During the meeting, both officials sought new and effective ways to collaborate in key sectors such as logistics, financial services, aviation, renewable energy, and space technology. They also agreed to strengthen their cooperation and embark on expertise sharing in areas of innovation and advanced technology in support of the two countries’ development plans.
Al Mansouri said both the UAE and Luxembourg enjoy strong bilateral economic and business relations. He said that the UAE is keen on attracting foreign investments and building quality partnerships to enhance innovation in various economic, trade, and investment projects, with special emphasis on sectors identified in UAE Vision 2021. Schneider said his country is willing to forge new collaborative efforts with the UAE, one of Luxembourg’s key strategic partners in the region.

He added that many companies from his country are interested in entering the UAE market, citing the Gulf country’s businessfriendly policies, openness, transparency, and diversified economy that provides various trade and investment opportunities.
He said an economic and trade delegation from Luxembourg may visit Dubai next year, adding that a business forum should be held to link their respective business communities and study prominent investment opportunities.
