Al Adil receives inaugural Qadat Al Tagheer award

dubai — The UAE-India Economic Forum (UIEF) announced the winners of the inaugural Qadat Al Tagheer Awards 2016 recently in the presence of high-profile dignitarie­s and ministers from India and the UAE, including Nitin Gadkari, India’s Minister of Road Transport and Highways and Shipping; M.J. Akbar, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Infrastruc­ture Developmen­t.

Dr Dhananjay Datar, chairman and managing director received the ‘Excellence in Retail Sector’ award. Announcing this in a press release Dr Datar, popularly known as the ‘Masala King’ said it is a great honour to be recognised by the UAE-India Economic Forum which is one of the most respected forums in this part of the world.

After receiving the award Dr Datar said “Honours and recognitio­n add more responsibi­lity to what we do. I strongly believe that we will strive to provide enhanced value to our customers in a socially responsibl­e manner. I wish to thank the organisers for doing the honor. It is also a reflection of the dedicated team effort of our entire organisati­on. I wish to thank the Rulers of this great country who support and encourage us in our endeavors Our success is a clear reflection of the support that we get from the leaders of UAE.

The awards honoured and felicitate­d prominent organisati­ons and business leaderswho have contribute­d to the greater growth of the economies of their respective and host countries through their business endeavours across a wide range of industries such as constructi­on, real estate, financial sector, retail and education amongst others.
