Top energy leaders at Adipec today
abu dhabi — Top names of the oil and gas industry will be in the capital as the 19th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) starts today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui, Cabinet Member and Minister of Energy, said the Adipec — under the theme of “Strategies for the New Energy Landscape — provides the industry’s prime networking platform and the perfect environment for conducting face-to-face business.
“Given the current energy landscape is one of lower oil prices, a shift towards the east, and continuing interest in new, sustainable energy sources, Adipec represents a rare opportunity for the global industry to interact, collaborate and share knowledge,” Al Mazroui said in a statement.
Adipec will bring together more than 2,000 exhibiting companies, 25 country pavilions, 700 speakers, 8,500 delegates, and 100,000 trade professionals from more than 125 countries, making it the largest event to date.
Adipec 2016 chairman and Al Yasat Petroleum Operations Company CEO Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi said the event is a premier knowledge-sharing platform for movers and shakers in energy and Adipec has, since its inception, established itself as a flagship event for the global oil and gas community
