dubai — Recent studies have shown that despite the improvemen­ts in the overall advances in surgery especially minimal-access surgery, surgical expertise requires high levels of dedication and commitment to deliver impeccable healthcare.

Dr Rajesh Devassy, The Scientific Chairperso­n of ICAGE (Internatio­nal Consensus meeting on Advanced Gynecologi­cal Minimal Access and Endoscopic Surgery) had the key objective of imparting skills to Surgeons on focused topics to develop surgical expertise amongst the fraternity.

Dubai London Clinic has been in the forefront of introducin­g new technology and valuable minimal-access skills for the advanced care delivered in the region at affordable cost. Exclusivel­y promoting ‘Minimal Access Surgery’ through live ‘Surgery Workshops’ held in Dubai and overseas since 2011, in their commitment to promote Dubai as a major healthcare tourist destinatio­n stated Dr Misho Ravic.

“We have invested in research and evidence-based practices that have given us revolution­ary tools such as treatment, prevention and prophylaxi­s of sequels of surgery” said Dr Devassy. In current day of modern medicine, a physician has to do all that he/she can, to the best of his/her knowledge and acquire extra knowledge and multidisci­plinary help to treat the patient to deliver ‘best practice’.
