“Such an accomplishment is part of the strategy of the medical office in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs to assist the hospitals and healthcare centres under its supervision to receive the international quality accreditation in response to the directives of the prudent UAE leadership,” Al Zaabi said.
Hassan Ahmed Al Alkim Al Zaabi, Undersecretary and Director General of the Medical Office, said the JCI Accreditation will definitely assist in establishing a system that would measure the quality performance of the hospital. “It would also ensure… the improvement of the working environment in the hospital, its efficient operational services, and facilitate the access of patients to the clinics in a short time.”
Dr Myung-Whun Sung, CEO of SKSH, said the accreditation enhances the trust of their patients, maintains their rights and safety during their hospital stay or during their outpatient clinic visits. “It encourages our colleagues to report accidents and risks to avoid any surrounding dangers,” Sung said. ahmedshaaban@khaleejtimes.com
