Paris Saint-Germain unveil academy, fan club in Dubai
DUBAI — The unveiling of the PSG Fan Club jersey and the announcement of the recent launch of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Dubai was held at the Nassima Royal Hotel on Wednesday night.
“As reflected in the academy’s motto, ‘Dream Bigger’, PSG Academy Dubai aims to build within the players of the country, a confidence to dream and attempt greater feats,” said Director of PSG, Frederic Deswarte.
PSG Academy Dubai, formerly known as Le Club France (LCF), has rebranded because Deswarte has selflessly contributed in setting the standards of the Academy, right from its inception in 2009.
Fred said: “Paris Saint Germain Academy is more than an afterschool activity. What will remain of Le Club France is the good spirit and the family spirit.”
The PSG family comprises of coaches, pioneers, and dreamers, tethered together by passion and the love of football. By combining expert instruction, cutting-edge training methodologies, professional-quality facilities, and a fun and motivating environment, Paris Saint Germain Academy is here to offer youngsters a fulfilling experience.
Based in eight countries, having 10 clubs and a strength of 11,500 players, Paris Saint Germain Academy is now set to tap into immense sporting heritage, splendid atmosphere and talent which are the hallmarks of Dubai,” added Deswarte.
The Academy at Dubai boasts of world class infrastructure catering up to 400 boys and girls of the age group of 3 to 23 years.
