Student hurt as classmate attacks him with stone
sharjah — A grade 12 student of a school in Sharjah attacked his classmate with a stone, causing a fracture in his skull. As a punitive measure, the private school in Sharjah has transferred the assailant boy to another school.
The Sharjah Police said the students were involved in a clash when the boy attacked his classmate. The injured student was rushed to Al Qasimi Hospital in Sharjah where he is currently recuperating.
The school management decided to transfer the student who attacked his classmate to another school, as a punishment based on the student punitive rules set up by the Ministry of Interior.
The parent of the victim lodged a complaint at Al Qarb Police Station and the police officials summoned the assailant’s parents for interrogation.
Meanwhile, the police launched an investigation in the case to complete the formalities for legal action.

in serious injuries to one of them. The school supervisors called the ambulance as the student was bleeding excessively.
The school immediately formed a committee to investigate the case and punish the violent student. The report of the investigation will be immediately referred to the Ministry of Education.
He said that the teachers had complained against the unruly student several times, adding that the incident must not be considered as a phenomenon and it is just one case that could be dealt with through education methods.
