Qatar reaffirms support to Yemen govt

doha — Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Yemen President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Monday discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them, in addition to a host of issues of common concern.

According to the Qatari news agency, President Hadi briefed Sheikh Tamim on the latest developments in Yemen and the international efforts for supporting legitimacy in the Yemen. He thanked the Amir, and the State of Qatar, for contributing to realising security and stability in Yemen.

Sheikh Tamim affirmed that Qatar would continue its efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis, and its support for the legitimate government as well as its keenness on Yemen’s unity and stability.
