New apart­ment project at JVC

dubai — Riviera Group un­veiled on Mon­day La Riviera Apart­ments, a 22-story res­i­den­tial build­ing at Jumeirah Vil­lage Cir­cle (JVC) fea­tur­ing 144 one and two bed­room apart­ments and two re­tail units.

The project is the lat­est among a host of new de­vel­op­ments com­ing up at JVC, a fast de­vel­op­ing free­hold com­mu­nity fea­tur­ing all types of prop­er­ties rang­ing from vil­las, apart­ments and town­houses to of­fices, re­tail and plots for de­vel­op­ment. Mas­ter de­vel­oper Nakheel has de­vel­oped four town­house and villa com­mu­ni­ties in JVC, but the rest of the com­mu­nity con­sists of projects built by pri­vate de­vel­op­ers.

The project, which will be ready by 2018 last quar­ter, has prox­im­ity to a med­i­cal fa­cil­ity, school, shop­ping cen­tre and con­ve­nience store, as well as di­rect ac­cess to the main high­way, Raz­zak said at the launch of the de­vel­op­ment aimed at above mid­dle-in­come group buy­ers who are in­creas­ingly look­ing at own­ing af­ford­able res­i­den­tial units rather then rent­ing.”

La Riviera Apart­ments fea­ture one-bed­room and two bed­room apart­ments with prices start­ing at Dh564,588 to Dh1.1 mil­lion, Mo­hamed Raza Raz­zak, di­rec­tor of Riviera Group, said.

“A typ­i­cal floor at the new de­vel­op­ment con­tains seven St Tropez one-bed­room apart­ments and two Nice two-bed­room apart­ments. Each apart­ment is de­signed for el­e­gance and con­ve­nience, with fix­tures and fin­ish­ing to the high­est stan­dard,” said Raz­zak. La Riviera Apart­ments “is ideal for any­one” look­ing for a re­treat from the stresses of ur­ban liv­ing, said Ab­dul Raul Raz­zak, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Riviera Group.

“The apart­ment com­plex is a perfect lo­ca­tion for fam­i­lies or pro­fes­sion­als in search of lux­ury homes with all the con­ve­nience and com­fort they would ex­pect.”

Other de­vel­op­ments of Riviera Group in­clude La Riviera Tower in Dubai Ma­rina and La Riviera Es­tates in Jumeirah Vil­lage Cir­cle.

“Since 2002, the group has built ap­prox­i­mately 1.45 Mil­lion square feet re­sult­ing in a 100 per cent de­liv­ery track record of 969 units in Dubai that are fash­ioned to re­flect peo­ple’s life­styles,” Raul Raz­zak said.

JVC villa project is among a range of Nakheel-con­structed de­vel­op­ments, in­clud­ing 615 vil­las and town­houses, which were de­liv­ered in 2013, and the one mil­lion sqft Cir­cle Mall, a new re­tail, din­ing and en­ter­tain­ment hub due for com­ple­tion in 2017.

Nakheel, the mas­ter de­vel­oper, has also brought sev­eral land­scaped parks to JVC, which spans al­most 570 hectares, with a pro­jected pop­u­la­tion of more than 250,000 peo­ple. Al­most 100 third party de­vel­op­ers’ build­ings are al­ready complete at the com­mu­nity, with an­other 320 at var­i­ous stages of de­sign and con­struc­tion. The com­pleted projects in­clude 10 Tower, 18 Sig­na­ture Vil­las, 7 West Town­houses, A1 Tower and Ab­jar Tower. Nakheel has com­pleted all in­fra­struc­ture works, in­clud­ing roads and street­lights, at JVC, and handed over plots to third party de­vel­op­ers, who con­struct their in­di­vid­ual projects to their own time­lines.
