New apartment project at JVC

- Staff Report

dubai — Riviera Group unveiled on Monday La Riviera Apartments, a 22-story residential building at Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) featuring 144 one and two bedroom apartments and two retail units.

The project is the latest among a host of new developments coming up at JVC, a fast developing freehold community featuring all types of properties ranging from villas, apartments and townhouses to offices, retail and plots for development. Master developer Nakheel has developed four townhouse and villa communities in JVC, but the rest of the community consists of projects built by private developers.

The project, which will be ready by 2018 last quarter, has proximity to a medical facility, school, shopping centre and convenience store, as well as direct access to the main highway, Razzak said at the launch of the development aimed at above middle-income group buyers who are increasingly looking at owning affordable residential units rather then renting.”

La Riviera Apartments feature one-bedroom and two bedroom apartments with prices starting at Dh564,588 to Dh1.1 million, Mohamed Raza Razzak, director of Riviera Group, said.

“A typical floor at the new development contains seven St Tropez one-bedroom apartments and two Nice two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is designed for elegance and convenience, with fixtures and finishing to the highest standard,” said Razzak. La Riviera Apartments “is ideal for anyone” looking for a retreat from the stresses of urban living, said Abdul Raul Razzak, managing director Riviera Group.

“The apartment complex is a perfect location for families or professionals in search of luxury homes with all the convenience and comfort they would expect.”

Other developments of Riviera Group include La Riviera Tower in Dubai Marina and La Riviera Estates in Jumeirah Village Circle.

“Since 2002, the group has built approximately 1.45 Million square feet resulting in a 100 per cent delivery track record of 969 units in Dubai that are fashioned to reflect people’s lifestyles,” Raul Razzak said.

JVC villa project is among a range of Nakheel-constructed developments, including 615 villas and townhouses, which were delivered in 2013, and the one million sqft Circle Mall, a new retail, dining and entertainment hub due for completion in 2017.

Nakheel, the master developer, has also brought several landscaped parks to JVC, which spans almost 570 hectares, with a projected population of more than 250,000 people. Almost 100 third party developers’ buildings are already complete at the community, with another 320 at various stages of design and construction. The completed projects include 10 Tower, 18 Signature Villas, 7 West Townhouses, A1 Tower and Abjar Tower. Nakheel has completed all infrastructure works, including roads and streetlights, at JVC, and handed over plots to third party developers, who construct their individual projects to their own timelines.
