Clinic offers IV beauty treatment

abu dhabi — A new clinic in Abu Dhabi is offering intravenous beauty and well-being solutions to residents. The VitaDrip is brought to Abu Dhabi by London-based Elixir Clinic, which also has branches in Dubai and Al Ain.

The VitaDrip is a range of 13 vitamin infusions that claim to deliver ‘inside-out beauty to clients’.

One of the most sought-after VitaDrips available at the dedicated clinic located at Abu Dhabi Marina, is ‘Life VitaDrip’. It is designed with a balance of vitamins and minerals to promote wellbeing. VIP Elixir VitaDrip is a blend of vitamins and minerals aimed at boosting the immune system. There are also bespoke VitaDrips for youthful beauty, fitness, hair growth, hydration, pre and post-maternity, for surgery and antioxidants, to name a few.

Each session of treatment take between 30 to 40 minutes. And prices start from Dh1200.

The clinic claims their treatments are the safest and the most effective for sustaining long-term health and well-being. The sessions are also administered under the supervision of qualified medical doctors

Dr Nancy Nabil, general practitioner at the clinic, said intravenous administration of vitamins ensures 100 per cent absorption.

“When you are using supplements or creams, the body is absorbing less than 10 per cent. The rest is wasted,” said Dr Nancy.

According to her, the infusions, even when administered in high doses, are ultra safe because they bypass the gastrointestinal system of the client.
