INTERPLAST’s range of products for the construction industry encompasses a wide variety and adheres to the best international standards

INTERPLAST, a primary member of Harwal Group, is a leading manufacturer of innovative products for the construction industry that include electrical cable management systems, wiring accessories, architectural claddings, window and door systems, fences, garden storage sheds and many more.

INTERPLAST Electrical Division was established in 1985 to manufacture PVC conduits and fittings popularly known as Cable Management System (CMS) under the brand name of DECODUCT. Since then, the presence of DECODUCT within the ever-expanding skyline of emirates has grown by leaps and bounds reaching the pinnacle of Burj Khalifa, the tallest manmade structure in the world. DECODUCT products are supplied throughout the MENA region as well as to the UK, covering more than 25 countries.

INTERPLAST’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in DIP (Dubai Investment Park) can extrude over 33,000 MT of UPVC resin and over 2,000 MT of injection products per annum, making it one of the largest manufacturing facilities in the region.

DECODUCT is the most comprehensive ASTA UK quality certified CMS range catering to British standards market.

The company recently expanded DECODUCT product range to metal products such as cable trays, metal trunking, C channels, under floor trunking and ladders in its new factory in Dubai. Thus, today INTERPLAST offers a one-stop-solution for all requirements for cable management systems in the ever-expanding construction industry.

INTERPLAST Electrical Division also manufactures cable protection tiles and boards in PE and PVC under the brand name INTERGARD, which are actively used in infrastructure projects within the GCC, replacing the conventional usage of concrete tile to protect electric communication cables.

While expanding and strengthening the DECODUCT brand within the MENA region in 1996, INTERPLAST Electrical Division established the first-ever fully integrated manufacturing facility within the MENA region to manufacture electric switches and sockets under the brand name EDISON. With the help of all available technical and designing resources within the Harwal Group, the company designed, developed and manufactured the first-ever indigenous electric switch and socket products conforming to BSEN standards. Today, EDISON is the only fully integrated wiring devices manufacturing facility in the MENA region.

Since launching the first-ever unbreakable polycarbonate range of switches in 1997 under the series name DURAFINISH, the company offers eight different designs/ranges of EDISON products quality certified by ASTA UK.

In 2009, INTERPLAST Electrical Division established an integrated manufacturing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to manufacture DECODUCT and EDISON range of products catering to the Saudi market, covering both British and American standard CMS product ranges.

All products are manufactured under the quality management system certified to ISO 9001 by ASTA — UK and all products conform to relevant British, German, European, American, SASO and other international standards with the CE mark for European safety regulations.

INTERPLAST Electrical Division has a solid and committed expansion plan for the future. The following ranges of products will be launched soon to expand our product offerings to the demands of the construction industry.
