New heights

The proposed opening of the new Muscat International airport this year promises to raise the Sultanate’s profile in the aviation world. Minister of Transport and Communications HE Dr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Futaisi has underscored the government’s efforts to put the nation in the lead in transportation and communications. The Sultanate has been focusing on upgrading the infrastructure to world standards as it is becoming a regional logistics hub. About 96 per cent of work of the fabulous new terminal is completed. The government has spared no effort in making the terminal one of the best in the region.
