Seminar to address IVF financing options
dubai — Addressing the high expenses of In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) procedure, Bourn Hall Fertility Centre, Dubai, will be conducting an educational seminar for couples seeking financing options for the treatment.
The seminar, to be held on March 4 at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, also aims to help couples struggling with infertility make more informed choices regarding treatment options. Couples can understand how they can maximise the success rate while minimising the financial risk associated with the IVF treatments.
The seminar will discuss future trends in IVF, clearing misconceptions and ways to maximise fertility chances. Bourn Hall Centre will be awarding one free IVF cycle to one lucky couple, selected from the first 50 registering for the event. Couples will also learn about the centre’s Shared Risk programme aimed at reducing the financial burden of IVF treatment and promising money back guarantee in case IVF fails.
“Interactive sessions like these are extremely important in introducing people to the various procedures on the path to fertility. Often, we meet couples who either do not have the understanding of the various reproductive techniques or harbour misconceptions that discourage them from opting for such procedures. Given the increasing infertility rate in the UAE — according to the Dubai Health Authority, the number of women seeking fertility treatments in Dubai could reach over 9,000 by 2030 — we feel there is a dire need to create awareness on the subject,” explained Dr Diana Kayal, specialist in obstetrics, gynaecology, reproductive medicine and infertility at Bourn Hall Fertility Centre Dubai.
“While one in five couples in the UAE face the struggle of infertility, the cost of quality IVF treatment is increasing. Couples are always searching for economical options, we want to educate them on means to ease the financial burden,” said Amin Neghabat, group CEO for Bourn Hall International.
