Worth the trip?

The costs are no concern for us earthlings, for now, but we do know that someone is willing to fork out astromical sums to SpaceX for the odyssey. Tesla founder Elon Musk is confident his rocket will pull it off in 2018. Commercial, private space ventures could get a boost if this trip takes off as planned. There’s a major market out there. The short wait may be worth the epic journey after all.
