dubai — A Pakistani laundry driver has been cleared by the Court of First Instance of the charge of molesting a 10-yearold boy at his home while his parents were away. He denied earlier the charge in court.

According to public prosecution records, the 24-year-old driver went to the boy’s house on December 12, last year, and on finding him alone, touched and hugged him.

The boy recounted how the driver stood very close to him, touching his body. The boy asked the driver to leave and then sent a message to his father on Facebook. The boy’s father, a Filipino civil engineer said his wife called him and said: “Our son had a problem. In the meantime, I received a message from him, complaining about the laundry driver.

He also told me he did not want that worker to go to our house again. When I asked him what was wrong, he started to cry. He told me the accused kissed him on the cheek and hugged him and touched him inappropriately,” the father said.
