Probe into subs’ purchase deal

Israel’s justice ministry said on Monday it had launched an investigation into alleged corruption surrounding a submarine deal which reportedly involves people close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The ministry stressed however that Netanyahu was not a suspect in the case.
