TECHNOLOGY ON TRACK TO DELIVER SPEED

Next-generation train and railway technology on display at the pavilions of China Railway Rolling Stock Company and Linsinger Austria pavilion Middle East Rail Exhibition and Conference 2017 at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Chinese firm showcased the world’s fastest high-speed train, with a maximum operating speed of 380km per hour and up to 420km per hour during test runs. Compared to the last-generation bullet train, the new train’s continuous operating speed has increased 50kmh. The two-day event concluded on Wednesday. —
