Sharjah launches Al Lilac

sharjah — Sharjah Holding, a Sharjah government body, on Saturday announced the launch of Al Lilac, a new neighbourh­ood as part of its Al Zahia residentia­l project, which as a whole will Dh4 billion.

The whole project has been executed by Sharjah government in strategic partnershi­p with Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

A landmark community strategica­lly located between Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and University City Road, Al Zahia is located close to convenient road network links connecting it to the rest of Sharjah and just minutes away from Healthcare City, University City, the school district and the adjacent Al Qarayen neighbourh­ood.

Addressing a press conference, Walid Al Hashimi, Chief Executive Officer, Sharjah Holding, said that Al Lilac, the third neighbourh­ood in Al Zahia, cost Dh650 million and comprises three-bedroom townhouses, four and five-bedroom villas and the newly introduced threebedro­om courtyard villas. The neighbourh­ood will provide a host of convenienc­es including areas for recreation, worship and childcare, in addition to communal areas and access to retail facilities.
