All-new Peugeot 3008 CUV makes ME debut
dubai — The European car of the year 2017 — Peugeot 3008 CUV — has made Middle East debut in Dubai at an impressive ceremony.
The all-new Peugeot 3008 CUV features a spectacular and advanced dashboard. This coherent and highly technological ensemble is the latest generation Peugeot i-Cockpit.
With an engine range that is both powerful and parsimonious, the Peugeot 3008 CUV features a 1.6L Turbo, 165hp engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox that give ultra-low consumption with a torque of 240N.m at 1400 rpm.
The high-profile event was attended by Jean-Philippe Imparato, chief executive officer of Peugeot brand; Jean-Christophe Quemard, executive vice-president Africa-Middle East of PSA Group; Cedric Zayoun, managing director of the GCC region at PSA Group; and the UAE’s celebrated rally driver Sheikh Khalid Al Qasimi, among others. “We aspire to be the best high end generalist car maker everywhere in the world: in Europe, in Asia, in Africa, and of course here in the Middle East and the Gulf region,” Jean-Philippe Imparato said.
He said the all-new Peugeot 3008 CUV is a car made for the Gulf region offering 5 years of manufacturer warranty — not just 3.
“In 2017, we have set a target of selling 2 million cars worldwide and we are confident of achieving it. Last year, we have sold over 1.9 million vehicles worldwide, 43 per cent of these sales took place outside Europe,” he added.
