PAL to stop Abu Dhabi operations from July 8
DUBAI — Phillipine Airlines (PAL) has temporarily suspended flights to and from Abu Dhabi from July 8 of this year.
The flights, PR656 and PR657, operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
According to the airline, the temporary cancellation is taking place as PAL undertakes route assessment initiatives. Holders of flights between Manila and Abu Dhabi dated from July 8 onwards have a number of options, which include rebooking on PAL flights to Dubai, where they were be transported by road to and from Abu Dhabi. Passengers may also request refunds.
Both these options are available within 30 days of the original flight dates, with rebooking and refund charges waived. PAL will also communicate with affected passengers via email notification and call-out.
According to PAL, the airline shall inform the public once the service resumes.
