Man killed in lift malfunction

A 27-year-old man died after being trapped in a lift in west Delhi, police said on Monday. Jaan Mohammad, a mechanic, was repairing a factory lift in Narela when the lift malfunctioned. “Mohammad was found dead in the lift on the third floor of a factory named AM/satyam plastic. The lift malfunctioned and started moving suddenly when the deceased was closing its manual door,” Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rishi Pal said. —
