Govt nod for Jewar airport

The central government has given its “in-principle approval” for the construction of a greenfield airport at Jewar, located in Gautam Budh Nagar district. The new facility, expected to be spread across 3,000 hectares of land, will be the second international airport to serve the catchment areas of the National Capital Region. —
