Mithali hoping to keep up form

-

India’s Mithali Raj feels posting totals in excess of 250 is good for the overall development of women’s cricket.

India started its campaign in the ICC Women’s World Cup with a resounding 35-run victory over hosts England on Saturday. Asked about her terrific, record run of form with the bat, she said, “I definitely don’t want to be reminded about it, but it feels nice to get runs under your belt, feels nice to get runs for the team in the World Cup and the team does well, I am hoping that I continue to do that.” The Decision Review System has been introduced in the women’s game and Mithali was all for it. “DRS is a good edition to the women’s game.” —
