Cheque imprisonment law

This is with regard to the letter ‘Please save my husband: Jailed Atlas Ramachandran’s wife makes desperate plea’ (KT, June 18). No solution can be reached with lenders. unless the law is changed A fair chance must be must be given to the lender and the borrower to settle issues. Imprisonment is not the solution.
