JAMES HUNT VS NIKI LAUDA (1976)

Englishman James Hunt won his only world championsh­ip in 1976 after an unforgetta­ble battle with Austrian legend Niki Lauda. Hunt clinched the title in the final race.

NIGEL MANSELL VS NELSON PIQUET (1986-87)

Williams teammates Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet were fierce rivals. The Englishman and the Brazilian had the most unforgetta­ble battle at the 1987 British Grand Prix.

ALAIN PROST VS AYRTON SENNA (1988-90)

Theirs was the mother of all F1 rivalries as they gave the sport some of its most controvers­ial battles for supremacy. The 1989 and 1990 titles battles were littered with crashes.

MARK WEBBER VS SEBASTIAN VETTEL (2010-13)

They were Red Bull teammates but they were not on talking terms after they crashed in the Turkish GP in 2010. It was Vettel won had the last laugh with four straight titles.

LEWIS HAMILTON VS NICO ROSBERG (2014)

The Mercedes teammates famously fought for the world championsh­ip in 2014 and they even crashed at the Belgian Grand Prix. It was an epic battle which was won by Hamilton.
