FNC members celebrate Eid with UAE soldiers in Yemen
abu dhabi — The UAE leadership and its people are proud of their brave soldiers who are helping their brothers in Yemen regain their legitimate rights from those undermining its security and stability, Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), has said.
She made the statement on the first day of Eid Al Fitr, which she spent with the UAE Armed Forces personnel in Yemen, and the Arab Coalition forces from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Sudan and Yemen. As part of the leadership’s initiative, the FNC speaker headed a high-level delegation of ministers, FNC members, officials and media personalities, which spent the first day of Eid with the soldiers.
She conveyed Eid Al Fitr greetings, blessings and appreciation to the UAE soldiers in Yemen from the leadership.

Wishing the soldiers a festive and safe Eid, she said: “God willing, our Eid will be when we celebrate your return to our country, with flags of victory, honour and pride. We, the people of the UAE, your fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters all are forever grateful to you for enabling us to celebrate Eid Al Fitr in a safe and stable environment. Thanks to our wise leadership and to you, our brave soldiers, we feel secure. We appreciate your efforts, honourable defence and great sacrifices that you are making on all fronts despite difficulties to enable us to be secure and safe.
