Iman Hassan, head of activities, spoke about the effectiveness of arts in spreading awareness ideas among students and parents. “Drawings can explain issues that help in educating families about the negative impact of drugs and the importance of staying away from bad friends. Precautionary measures are also vital to protect students from the consequences of falling into the clutches of drugs,” she said.

Maj Gen Al Mansouri praised the participanting authorities for their active role and support. He said that such initiatives will help establish a culture of awareness among all members of the society. He stressed that the World Anti-Drugs Day is one of the events where all officials concerned unite and work together against one common enemy — the drug dealers. He urged families to activate community partnerships and stand together with the security officials to face the challenges in drug-related issues.
