New business owners must now approach the Sharjah Civil Defence administration to receive approvals and learn about safety regulations and procedures. Their licence will not be issued without the approval of the Civil Defence, which will first review the designs and drawings to ensure that fire safety norms are in place, strengthening the emirate’s fight against fire hazards.
