‘2018 will be year of success’

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, praised the directives to declare 2018 as ‘Year of Zayed’ as a national nod to celebrate the life of the late Sheikh Zayed.

He stressed that the Year of Zayed is a commitment for all Emiratis to preserve the culture of excellence, enhance their personal performance and improve their leadership skills in all areas of work.

He said Sheikh Zayed’s life represented an important period in the history of the UAE, and 2018 could be a year of “exceptional local and international success”, and a year of accomplishing greater achievements and advancing towards wider horizons.

“Today, we are proud that we are following in the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed, and his strategy to build the nation. We now know that we are a nation of great achievements,” he added. — Wam
