Road project given go ahead

The federal government has approved reconstruction of Raikot-Thakot section of the Karakoram Highway under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Sources said the 280km-lomg road will be completed at a cost of Rs8 billion in three years and will boost trade and economic activities in Hazara division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
