UAE leaders tweet on importance of ‘giving’

dubai — The UAE will remain on the forefront for sharing and supporting the humanitari­an works in the world, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted on the World Humanitari­an Day.

“The Emirati humanitari­an work is part of us, stemming out from our history, values and culture”, he said adding it is a part extended from the era of Zayed until today. He added “UAE shares the World in celebratin­g the World Humanitari­an Day, for it’s the first in this field globally”

Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also tweeted on his account on the event. He said the “UAE aid helped end suffering of those in need and gave them a ray of hope. It is aid for the sake of aid and not for interests or agenda”. — Wam
