DUBAI — The country will soon have a centralised centre to respond to fire alarms within seconds. The Ministry of Interiorhas launched ‘Hasantak’ project, for smart monitoring of such fire emergency situations. The response to fire alerts will be in less than two minutes. Jassem Al Marzouqi, general commander of civil defence at the Ministry of Interior, said that this is the largest integrated system in the region to monitor emergency situations related to fire and public safety through a public-private partnership. The central Alarm Receiving Centre will make sure the alarm is genuine and automatically alert civil defence which will send assistance to the scene.
