Kids fall sick after chemical leak

A chemical leak in a neighbouring sugar mill led to over 100 children in a school in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh falling sick on Tuesday, police said. Students of the Saraswati Shishu Mandir public school complained of uneasiness, vomiting, nausea, itching and tears in the eyes. Before the school management could react to the situation, more than two dozen students had fainted. —
