Education: Your key to a bright future

The UAE Global Education Fairs gives students and parents answers to key questions

-

The UAE Global Education Fair will allow students and parents to meet schools and universities from around the world. Held in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, institutions from all over Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North America will be present, eager to offer students an experience of a lifetime at their prized schools.

Studying overseas at an international school or university is an enriching experience that helps young people attain the best degrees and qualifications while improving their employability in the marketplace.

Research has shown that students who experience life in another country tend to mature earlier, have stronger social skills and even more confidence than those without international exposure.

However, with such a large number of countries and universities offering a wide range of courses, choosing where to go can be very difficult. One of the best places to start is an international education fair and the worldwide Global Education Fair series is considered the premier international education fair in the world.

During the UAE Global Education Fairs, students and parents will have access to several expertly presented seminars, focused on differing education systems and the latest enrolment information. In addition, they can meet with both admissions counsellors and former students to speak about their experiences and find out any information concerning international education, including answers to key questions such as: • Which is the right course? • How to write a successful application? • How an international qualification can help advance a career? • How to apply for a student visa? • What are the accommodation options and costs? • Why study abroad? Many countries will be represented at the fairs, including the U.S., U.K., India, Australia, France, Spain, Canada and much more. There will also be some of the best universities from the UAE present, for those who would prefer to remain closer to home.

Experts representing each of these countries can offer professional and personalised advice on the costs of studying abroad, visa information, accommodation advice, the type of qualifications available and any further concerns students or parents may have.

Courses overseas are not limited to one type of degree; institutions offer a wide range of available options, including but not limited to: • Undergraduate degrees • Masters, MBAs and PhDs • Language courses • Specialised courses • High schools and boarding schools

The UAE Global Education Fairs are two of the four events of the UAE International Education Week, which takes place between October 18th and 23rd and are held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
