Study in New York City
New programmes and scholarship packages in store for international students
The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs (MARXE) at Baruch College – City University of New York launches new programmes and scholarship packages for international students looking to study in New York City. The new programmes include a Master of International Affairs (MIA), Global Leadership Institute, and Full Fellowships.
The new MARXE Global Leadership Institute offers undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to working professionals an opportunity to join a cohort of students to learn about strategic management and leadership skills in a three-week intensive course. This non-degree programme focuses on bridging theory and practice, and offers all participants to learn in an academic university environment, while at the same time immersing themselves in cultural activities in New York City and site visits to private and public agencies. The one-time fee includes local transportation, instructional costs, programme fees, housing, felid trips in NYC and Washington DC, in addition to meals on campus. The Institute also offers customisable programmes. All participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the programme.
The MARXE school now offers international students full and part time scholarships to qualifying students. This new award programme is designed to offer all students an opportunity and affordable access to study in New York City and a destination city. On any given day, one can find students speaking over 110 languages on campus coming from over 180 countries. Our campus offers all students the chance to engage in many student activities as we have over 200 student clubs and more than 12 sports teams including a dormitory.
