Macron visit aims to boost ties

French President Emmanuel Macron was scheduled to travel to Algeria on Wednesday for a one-day working visit aimed at boosting the security and economic cooperation between the two countries. Macron plans to meet Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and discuss the situation in Libya and other security issues.
