Ocean Fair down DHL to claim title
dubai — Ocean Fair International beat DHL to claim the 17th City Diamond Diamond Cup seven-aside cricket tournament at Ocean Fair Sports Club Grounds at Dubai Investment Park this weekend.

Batting first, DHL scored 43 for 5 in 5 overs with Fahim Ahmad being the chief contributer with 23 runs. Chasing the target, Ocean Fair made 45/3 in 3.4 overs after good show from Waheed Ahmad (13) and Rachi Jacob (11). Ajmal Khan took all the three wickets that fell for eight runs. Waheed Ahmed of Ocean Fair International was named man-of-the-final.

DHL had entered the final defeating Salman Cool Boys by five wickets, while Ocean Fair trounced DG Lions by six wickets. The tournament was organised by Ocean Fair Sports Club with senior umpire Tariq Butt as chief organiserand all prizes were donated by Deepak Arora of City Diamond and Freddy Sidhwa of Ocean Fair International.
